Ireland's Dream Duo: Staunton and Robson

No, really.

According to The Guardian, Walsall's assistant manager is set to be offered the Republic of Ireland job, with Sir Bobby to be his 'guiding mentor'.Staunton is Ireland's most capped player ever, with 106 appearances, and Robson is, well, erm, unemployed and slightly senile.The Republic of Ireland will begin a 6 months qualifying campaing for the 2008 European Championships on 1st March with a friendly against Sweden at Lansdowne Road.
