England 'B' 1 - 2 Belarus

Surprise surprise, things didn't quite go to plan last night as England B lost to The Mighty Belarus thanks in no small part to a rather unsportsmanlike goal in the 50th minute.

Norwich keeper Robert Green suffered a ruptured groin as he took a goal kick, collapsing in agony and gifting the ball to Vitali Kutuzov who tucked the ball away for a goal leading to much jeering from the crowd. Sadly for England's 3rd choice keeper the injury almost certainly means an end to his dream of travelling to the World Cup.

Despite the poor scoreline, Aaron Lennon seems to have won over many with his performance, as did Carrick and Walcott .

The Times has rated each player's performance .
